How to Identify the Correct Spare Part

Quick help: To identify the correct commercial laundry spare part, please send the part number if known, machine model, serial number, nameplate photo, damaged part photo and delivery country. These details help us check compatibility before preparing a quotation or proforma invoice.

Ordering the wrong spare part can cause delays, extra transport costs, return problems and unnecessary machine downtime. Many commercial laundry machines have different spare parts depending on serial number, voltage, heating type, control version, drain type, market version or factory updates.

The more accurate information you send, the faster we can help identify the correct part for your washer, dryer, ironer, folder, feeder or other commercial laundry equipment.

Machine nameplate example

A clear full photo of the machine nameplate is usually the best way to help us identify the correct spare part. Please make sure the model number, serial number, MFG/product number, voltage and year are readable.

Tip: Please send the whole plate in one sharp, well-lit photo. Do not crop off the corners or blur the numbers.

1. Send the Part Number if You Have It

If you already have a part number, please send it exactly as written. Part numbers may include letters, slashes, spaces, hyphens or suffixes, so it is important not to shorten or change the number.

If the part number is difficult to read, please send a clear photo of the label, stamp, packaging or old invoice where the number appears.

2. Send the Machine Model

The machine model helps identify the correct parts manual, machine family and possible part variations. Commercial laundry models can look similar but use different components inside.

Please copy the full model from the machine nameplate, or send a clear photo of the nameplate so we can check it accurately.

3. Send the Serial Number

The serial number is often very important because manufacturers may change parts during production. A part used on an early version of a machine may not be the same as the part used on a later version.

Serial number, production date, market version and factory updates can affect motors, control boards, valves, sensors, bearings, door parts, heating parts and many other components.

4. Send a Photo of the Machine Nameplate

A nameplate photo is usually the best way to avoid mistakes. It normally shows the model, serial number, voltage, phase, frequency, heating information and other technical details.

Please make sure the photo is clear, not blurred, and that all numbers and letters can be read.

5. Send a Photo of the Damaged or Required Part

A photo of the damaged part can help us check the shape, connector type, mounting points, markings, colour, size and possible variations. This is especially useful when the part number is missing, damaged, obsolete or has been replaced by a newer version.

If possible, send photos from more than one angle. For electrical parts, please include connector plugs, labels and any printed numbers.

6. Tell Us the Voltage and Heating Type

Voltage, phase and heating type can change the correct spare part. This is especially important for dryers, washers with electric heating, ironers and finishing equipment.

For dryers, please tell us whether the machine is electric, gas or steam heated. Electric, gas and steam dryers can use different heaters, thermostats, ignition parts, valves, sensors and safety components.

7. Tell Us the Delivery Country

The delivery country is needed to check transport options, delivery cost, VAT treatment, customs requirements and possible export restrictions.

For shipments outside Latvia or outside the EU, we may need additional company, customs, end-user, end-use or export information before confirming the order.

8. Control Boards, Displays and Electronic Modules

Control boards, displays, electronic modules and programmed parts may need extra checking before supply. Some boards require machine-specific programming or software before dispatch or installation.

For these parts, please send the machine model, serial number, existing board number, software label, EEPROM label if applicable and clear photos of the board or display. Programmed or electronic parts may be non-returnable once supplied.

9. Obsolete, Superseded or Discontinued Parts

Some commercial laundry parts are obsolete, discontinued, superseded or replaced by kits. If the original part is no longer available, we may check whether there is a replacement, updated version, conversion kit or alternative solution.

For old machines, the model, serial number and photos are especially important because a small difference in machine version can affect compatibility.
